Why I Don't Read Slate

I used to read Slate a lot, back for the first year or so it existed. Why'd I stop? "Doghouse" Riley points out one reason:

Bats Left/Throws Right: "C'mon, Dickerson. It's Slate! It's the home of the Special Reverse Twist Counterintuitive Contrarianism masquerading as Just Common Sense."

William "Lord" Saletan, concern troll, is another reason. As is the fact that I can't justify giving page views to a publication that pays Mickey "Goat blower" Kaus, he of infinite chips on his shoulder, a salary.
