"March 4 (Bloomberg) -- President George W. Bush, facing a decline in public support for private Social Security accounts, said ``something drastic has to happen'' to fix the retirement safety net that has served workers for decades."Drastic, huh? For him, the most drastic possible thing would be increasing revenue (taxes) so the US can restore fiscal sanity.
But is fiscal sanity drastic enough for Bush? Don't bet on it.
The profligacy of this administration is infuriating.
