Bush Slams an Ally in the War on Terror

In this LA Times story, Bush, first off, continues to lie about what Kerry has said:
"The use of troops to defend America must never be subject to a veto from countries like France," the president told a crowd of several thousand in Allentown.
Kerry has , of course, repeatedly said there would be no veto by any country on any action he would take to protect America. That's just an outright lie by Bush.

Of course, Bush engages in France bashing, when France is on the ground in Afghanistan and taking casualties.

I'm sure the Frenchman who lost his leg will be so glad that Bush is mocking France. And lying about Kerry's position, too.

In the debate, Bush said:
You cannot lead the world if you do not honor the contributions of those who are with us.
So stop slamming France, Bush. Just because you were dead wrong about Iraq and they didn't join in your folly is no reason to hate them.
