Feel Bush's hate for Kerry!
If Bush hated Al Qaeda as much as he hated his
political opposition, America would really be a safe place.

Bush blinks a lot.

Bush blinks more when caught in a fabrication.
His hyper-blinking happens a lot.

Bush simulates thinking

I wish Kerry would shut up, I can't hear what Rove's saying in my wired earpiece.

Not good at captions but since I don't have TV, this was the first time I got to see Bush's face, a horror I prefer to avoid. Kerry looks like Abraham Lincoln and uses hand gestures as if brain is connected to body. Bush looks like a robot.

You "democrats" are a sorry lot. You sound like the same rhetoric that comes out of the ACLU and Jesse Jackson. Wonder why Sharpton didn't take the primaries?
Take a hard look at Kerry and Edwards, then Bush and Cheney...and next time this country is attacked, ask yourself...who's going to act and who are the actors?
It's ashame that most democratic voters are ignorant as is Ted Kennedy and Hilary Clinton, to insult a President during wartime. Your remarks and observations may be funny and sarcastic but you shouldn't call yourselves Americans. And you are all being "duped" by the Democrats. You really have no understanding of what it means to sit in that Oval office and make decisions every day to protect American citizens. It's a shameful time for the Democratic Party and their biggest mouthpeice are the likes of Daschell and Kennedy, the only Kennedy that should have been assasinated. The Conservative voter is well informed, optimistic, patriotic, and angry that we were attacked on 911. I'm in NY and I felt it deep...the President made a promise and took out Afghanistan. Until he removed Hussein in Baghdad, most Democrats were behind him, but now they have found the excuse needed to take back the congress in favor of the Democratic Party. They don't care about Kerry. Before he won the primaries he was just another "fat" senator that ran around the world with no time to attend important votes and meetings at congress. But they need Bush out to take back the Democratic majority...it's all politics so open your minds and let our President do his job as Commander in Chief. We've all waited so long for this great country to "flex" its military muscle especially when several oppurtunities were handed to Bill Clinton. But the world just kept stepping on us. Remember the first World Trade Center bombing that injured over 2000 people and made a hole through three floors of concrete. This was Al Queda saying hello America. Clinton...no reaction. Before that was Mogadishu,Somalia (Black Hawk Down)...Clinton pulls out the troops. Al Queda score 2-0 against us. In 1998 with the two American Embassy bombings with hundreds killed...Clinton's reaction? Al Queda score 4-0 against the United States. Then the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, Clinton's reaction....Al Queda score 5-0 against the "mighty" western America. Our message to Bin Laden was non-existent. At one point, Clinton sends 75 cruise missles into a pharmaceutical factory...that was it. In the meantime, during these bombings and his "impeachment" hearings, the Al Queda was training on our airplanes to fly straight and level. A two year plan while Clinton was president which culminated into the attacks of 911. Add it all up and I find it strange that Bin Laden was attacking us since the early ninety's but we never heard of him until September 12, 2001. We have a President that has declared war on the enemy...not just the terrorists but those that would deal with them. He named Iraq, Iran, and North Korea as the "axis of evil"...would any other president have the guts to make a move like that? Like it or not, the removal of Hussein was a necessity to stabilize the region and make our presence available for our next enemy...the Iranians. Saddam signed a peace agreement after killing rebels in the south with chemical weapons. His own people, some 3500 died of nerve gas agent. He agreed to inspections but limited the inspectors to when and where. He agreed to "no fly zones north and south" but shot at our aircraft as often as possible. The UN inspectors were frustrated enough that in 1996 or 1998 when they were "allowed" back in they stated that they were seeing the same old places. The UN passed 17 resolutions "warnings" to Hussein and he went his own way each time. The "Oil for food" program was on the table for him from the beginning but he refused it for years, until he figured out how to black market oil and purchase more weapons. Building long range missles in spite of his treaty. Did you ever stop to wonder what he was going to put inside these missles? Even Clinton himself in 1998 said that "Saddam Hussein has to go". Again, no action. From the beginning until George Bush got the OK from the UN and bipartisn congress, Hussein was able to undermine the sanctions and the oil for food program. And please don't forget that Russia, Germany, and especially France did not support the invasion because of their black market purchases of oil in exchange for money and weapons to Hussein. He underminded the sanctions to the point where it was America alone...Russia, China, France, and Germany are not our allies. They are not our allies because they are guilty of aiding this dictator. They are not our allies because they stalled the Presidents actions against Iraq for ten months. In all honesty, do you think Hussein had time to cover his tracks? Kerry said at the first debate that possibly the 18th resolution against him might have worked. And the argument about giving inspectors more time is foolish. What the Democrats won't tell you is that the Iraqis guided the inspectors to the same places that they had seen before. I believe in 1998 they finally "threw in the towel". As another example of the failures of the United Nations, Colin Powell recently appealed on the floor of the United Nations for nations to act against the Sudan for the genocide being implemented by the Jujaweed rebels and the Sudanese government. 134 countries signed this pact that would allow immediated action against any country committing acts of Genocide. He could not convince the United Nations to pass sanctions...the best he got was an 11-0 vote to meet again in the future to discuss the matter. Four countries abstained the vote...China and France were two of them...there's oil in Sudan and they need to work with the Sudanese government. Like the millions of Jews that were murdered by the Nazis in Germany and the world stood still, genocide is taking place by the tens of thousands in Sudan and nothing is being done. Arab Muslims against non-Arab Muslims...Raping the women and young girls, while killing the men and boys...sending the survivors to refugee camps to the north.
I do not judge a man by his words, and neither should you. Judge a man by his actions. The President said that Afghanistan and Iraq would be "hard work"...it is. Afghanistan had their first free elections recently. Although the potential "losers" tried to nullify the election, the people came out through the mountains to cast their vote...these people want democracy.
George Bush is working hard with the Iraqi interim government to secure many red zones, finally it appears that Sadr and his militants may be making peace. The president's obstacle is those terrorists from Syria and Iran...keep in mind that the theocracy of Shia Muslims in Iran would love to have the majority of Shia Muslims in Irag control the country...this will not happen.
In historical hindsight...after we defeated Japan, we remained in Japan for seven (7) more years to keep the "peace". You cannot convince a country overnight that we are the good guys, so many Japanese did not lay down their arms immediately.
But I can tell you personally that when a car bomb kills Iraqis lining up for duty as police men, National Guardsman, or regular army...it's a short time after the fires are put out and the bodies are taken away that more Iraqis get in line.
Finally, if anyone doubts that Iraq was not a terrorist nation then you have to ask yourself..."why is it that every attack against America and coalition forces including Iraqis has been done in the "classic" style of terrorists?
Support our President, freedom is not cheap nor easy. The Iraqis are learning and soon others will learn what we've been saying since the Revolution in 1776..."Give us libery or give us death!"

like the last comment?? why not make Bush "President for life" and get it over with--we could call him Papa Bush instead of Papa Doc
Actually, Kerry says he's gonna do Bush better-- so maybe we don't have anything to worry about, here. No matter which way you vote-- we get the same results or even, 'mo betta. Now, that's what i call real democracy, eh??? Most reasoning folks call it totalitarianism--with a velvet lining as long as the jobs hold out and you keep your trap shut on the job.

Wartime, schmartime. An moronic, dyslexic religiuos zealot dictator isn't exempted because he's engaged in a war, legal or otherwise. You don't gag free speech with the excuse that your country is at war. I am 50 and I cannot recall when the US was not engaged by war, cold, hot, or clandestine. Sorry, that is no excuse.

Do the activities of Prescott Bush, Dubyas grandfather play here at all? I mean secretly financing Hitler and getting his ass caught and his wrist slapped. Where is the coverage that this part of the story so richly deserves? I think this important but little discussed piece of history goes along way toward explaining what this family is made of. Check it out, google Prescott Bush.

Check it out, presenting Prescott Bush and George H.W.Bush caught redhanded committing treason against their very own country during and following a major war and directly aiding and abetting the enemy.

Boy, one anonymous poster above wrote an incredibly long and almost cogent screed.

One quote: "Support our President, freedom is not cheap nor easy."

Well, Anonymous, I hope we can hold you to that when a democrat is president. Don't attack Kerry when he's elected or you'll be attacking the American president while we're at war.

Why do I think that Republicans won't be so firm about not criticizing the President when he doesn't have an (R) after his name?

No kidding. They will probably try to assassinate him ( he IS JFK, after all) or at the very least his character. Like Clinton. They don't like to lose.

I am astonished and dismayed that there Americans who would consider re-electing two draft evaders like these clowns.

When Cheney was CEO of Halliburton they took in $70M in revenues. His response? 'I was unaware that we were doing business with Iraq while I was CEO of Halliburton'. Do people believe that shit or do they simply accept it as necessary for the security of the USA?

Check out this unauthorised biography of Cheney. Brace yourself. Some very good testimony regarding the lies about WMDs. cbc.ca/fifth/dickcheney

I am from a foreign country, that has very little to do with these political battles you guys are in right now. And I do care for who wins, because whoever takes office as president of the USA is responsible for a lot of things that happen around the world. Even if this person takes care only of domestic issues. Just because the USA is that big.

Looking from the distance, though, what seems to me the greatest threat of having a Bush person in power, is that he acts in a way that creates anger in other areas of the world. Right now the Arab world is certainly not very fond of USA people. And what does anger create in these cultures? A half of dozen that are willing to strap bombs to their chest and run into a lot of civilians! The more Americans the better... From what I saw on the debate Bush/Kerry it seems very clear that less of these lunatics will arise if Kerry wins...

I really like the USA and their people. Part of my family is actually American. And I hope things get safer in there and the rest of the world.

The third debate demonstrates how GW doesn't listen to the people OR the questions. His response to a question of how he would respond to an out of work famly man, drew a response on his plans for education or retraining. As that man struggles to put food on the table and a roof over his family's head, I'm sure he would be comforted by that plan to put him back to work!!!!(joke) There is no denying that retraining would be needed in a changing job market.....but retrained for what? The only glut of jobs I see out there is for food service work at a fast food joint or others with a similarly dismal outlook for a future. I'm glad there are no more debates, I'm tired of hearing his BS and denials. Like he now says, "on November 2nd the people will decide who won the debates". I truly hope that no one else watched them the way Bush listens to questions!
